Risk-based decision-making in tunnel safety#

Since 10-15 years risk assessment is used as an additional tool - complementary to prescriptive guidelines - to support decisions related to tunnel safety. Depending on methodology and application, different types of risk acceptance principles and criteria are applied. In the presentation common practical approaches are presented and discussed.
